Why do so many people feel empowered to question God's Will?

If God wants to take our faith, who are we to question why? If God allows floods, disease, war, it is all part of His glorious design to bring us to the fulfillment of His Ultimate Desire. We are dirt. We are dust. How dare we question what the Almighty has in store for us? We should thank our lucky stars that God saw fit to blow life into the muck of the earth and allow my puny finite personality to live for 80 years upon this rock. Most questions we have He has deemed it not necessary to know for our salvation. We should accept the fact, that it is a "mystery," and keep on truckin'.
